How Basic Reality works

Basic Reality is a Telegram Mini App on the TON blockchain. The planet is divided into 20×20 metre squares; each one can be owned by exactly one person as a real NFT. Play it at @Basic_reality_bot.

Right now: 329 squares claimed by 58 owners across 42 countries, with 96.58 TON already paid out to players as rent and 0.38 TON sitting in the community pool.

How you earn

• Rent. 35% of every paid mint is split instantly between nearby owners. Rarer land earns a bigger share and reaches further (150–400 m).
• Daily yield. 10% of every paid mint goes into a community pool; 10% of that pool is shared every day among all landowners, in proportion to their land value.
• Referrals. You earn 5% of everything the people you invite ever earn, plus 3% of what their invitees earn — taken from real earnings, never printed.
• Resale. Sell your square at your own price in the app or on GetGems.

What a square costs

Rarity is decided by the real world: next to a famous landmark → Legendary (3 TON), capital city → Epic (2 TON), big city → Rare (1.5 TON), any city → Uncommon, everywhere else → Common (1.1 TON). Your second square is discounted to 0.7 TON.

Getting your money out

Everything you earn is real TON, withdrawable to your own wallet from 1 TON. Payouts up to 4 TON are sent automatically, usually within seconds.

Server 2 — photos

A second, independent map where you post your own photo as an NFT in a separate collection, with the same rent, referral and payout economy. Photos can be liked, commented on and sold.

Honest limitations

Rent is a share of each event, not a guaranteed yield: if nobody mints near your land, there is nothing to share at that moment. This is a game mechanic, not an investment product, and nothing here is financial advice.
